Bonjour tout le monde!

One week from today I will be leaving the comforts of home in Maryland for a year living abroad in France!  Starting at the beginning of October, I will be an English teaching assistant in the city of Clermont-Ferrand au niveau primaire. This blog will be about the sites, smells, sensations of travel and new adventures as well as the good, the bad, and the ugly of adulting in one of the most socialist, yet bureaucratic places there is.

I can’t wait for this journey to begin!  First stop will be Paris for a week, staying with a friend (whom I met on a bus to London during my last time in France– oh how the world works!) before heading down to Clermont-Ferrand on the 28th.
